Cold comforts: Two new sweet options

The Lite Choice - whose frozen desserts are billed as (deep breath now) all-natural, gluten free, certified organic, kosher, free of corn syrup, free of preservatives and free of rBSTs (exhale) - has opened its fourth shop in the area. It's at 1528 Walnut St. in a large space on the 16th Street side of the building between Walnut and Locust Streets. Stores are open in Sea Isle City, at 135 South St., and 121 Market St. in Collegeville. All 80 flavors are made in-house.

Frank Gilanelli and family have opened a Smoothie King - the chain that started it all 40 years ago - in the Bourse (Fifth Street between Market and Chestnut Streets).
