Even the tender ministrations of Gordon Ramsay a year and a half ago could not save Zocalo, the Mexican restaurant at 36th Street and Lancaster Avenue in West Philly. The liquor license is inactive and the phone is shut off.

Pizzicato, once a threesome with locations in Old City, Moorestown and Marlton, is down to its Old City flagship. Moorestown closed six months ago, and Marlton closed a few weeks ago.
