James Beard award winner Maneet Chauhan, who just wrapped her fourth season as a judge on Food Network's Chopped, is on book tour aurrounding her new Flavors of My World,
For her Philly stop on April 19, she will host a dinner at Tashan (777 S. Broad St.) with chef Sylva Senat. It's open seating from 5 to 9 p.m.
The $95-a-head event includes a cocktail, appetizer and entree (paired with wines), and dessert and a signed and personalized cookbook.
On the menu are Bombay bhel (puffed rice salad, red onion, mango. peanut and chickpeas) and Mangalorean chicken, with Gulab Jamun creme brulee for dessert.
