Chicken joint on way to Wash West

It's called Chick-a-lic.

Chicken joint on way to Wash West

Jack Chen and Ben Wang, the guys behind Spice 28 at 1228 Chestnut St., are busy hammering out Chick-a-lic at 138 S. 11th St., across from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and next to N.Y.P.D. Pizza.

They're keeping much of the fine points under wraps, but they bill this quick-serve restaurant a one-of-a-kind chicken concept. The entire menu will be based on chicken - soup, salad, entrees, and, yes, wraps.

They're aiming for December.

Chen also owns Sakura Mandarin at 11th and Race Streets.
