Good grief. Even moderate-priced restaurants are feeling the pinch.

The Charlie Brown's Steakhouse on Swedesford Road in Devon (Tredyffrin Township) has closed after a little more than five years, its manager confirms. Other locations, including Springfield (Delco) and Langhorne, remain.

If I'm not mistaken, that was the former Al-E-Gator's site. Ever since the Valley Forge Music Fair shut down, there has been no reason to stop between King of Prussia and West Chester. Certainly, a Charley Brown's was no reason to do so.

The chain doesn't provide a quality product...that probably has more to do with the closure than the economy...the economy likely just put it out of it's misery.

Been going to the Charlie Browns in Langhorne for the past 2 yrs. Last 3 meals were terrible, dry, tasteless sliders and steak so stringy I could have flossed with it. No more....no loss.

I have been at the Langhorne rest. as recetly as last month. Never any problems other than having to wait in line. Salad bar is high on my list

My girlfriend lives in Valley Forge and CB's had become a convenient favorite for us. The quality of the food was good (I never got steaks, though)and they had a diverse menu. The trouble was you would always be full after the salad bar, which was pretty darn good. It was a very cozy, sort of romantic atmosphere, at least on the side opposite the bar. There were never many people there, though. You never had to wait for a table. The person above is right. It's a dead location now.
