Center City's DanDan opening Main Line location
It's a hometown play, as the couple live five minutes away.
Kevin and Catherina "Cat" Huang, whose DanDan restaurant is closing in on two years on 16th Street near Sansom, are planning a Main Line location, to open in late March or early April.
The Huangs are fixing up the former Ella's American Bistro, tucked just off Lancaster Avenue at 214 Sugartown Rd. in Acme Plaza in Devon (though the mailing address is Wayne).
They say this location will be somewhat more upscale than Center City and is twice the size.
The menu, also larger and more ambituous, will also reflect Sichuan and Taiwanese cooking.
