While word spreads that new Eagle Michael Vick is house-hunting in Bryn Mawr, it's time to look into his suburban Atlanta spread.

Quite nice.

It's tied up in bankruptcy proceedings, as the former Falcon filed last year. Realtor Russ Robinson tells me that he has a buyer lined up as soon as the legal mess is sorted out.

Vick also owns property in Virginia (a house in Hampton and, through a corporation called MV7 L.L.C., the pad in Surry County used for dog-fighting).

This is the problem with this country. It's in bankruptcy, any money he makes should be forced to pay creditors. But the rich know how to protect their stuff. He ownes other property under LLC so they can't be touched.

Why is everyone bringing all of the sins of the nation on Vick? I mean come on I have yet to meet a single person who hasn't broken the law. Not one single person. Whether it's speeding, DUI's or cheating on your taxes. Most of you probably cheat on your wives or husbands. What Vick did was horrible but to say he got off is absurd. The justice system is set up to allow you to defend yourself against accusations . So if you have a large amount of monetary resources you will be able to defend yourself better! DUH! Why do you think the DA picks and chooses who to prosecute? Also if you have a problem with the bankruptcy laws take it up with your politicians. In fact they made the laws more strict to counter the crooks who almost bankrupt the entire world(look it up, those banks didn't just make bad investments in the US). If any of us were in Vick's shoes we would do everything we can to protect our things as well.

No famous, wealthy white man in this country would have gone to jail for two years for dog-fighting. It's amazing that the double-standards in this country go un-noticed/un-mentioned when there is a black male involved. A wealthy white male would have possibly done community service or would have been asked to make a public service message. Vick has served nearly two years in jail and many in the public still want him to be denied a living. Only in Amerikkka!!!

Double Standard is right. This guy was sent to jail because he was black. That is the truth. This is a joke. The man served his time and this matter should be closed forever.
