The facade of 500° - at 500 pixels wide.

The Rouge-owned burger shop 500° - on the 1500 block of Sansom Street next to Roy's - is shooting for a March 17 roll-out.

As I reported back in October, owners Rob and Maggie Wasserman were inspired by their burger sales during last year's Rittenhouse Row Festival to open this upscale but budget burger joint.

About 20 people will sit inside; most business will be takeout.

The interior has been framed out, and electrical work is next.

For now, here's a look at an artist's rendering of the facade.

singage is much improved from what they showed the art commission a few months ago. sansom from 15 to 16 is shaping up nicely - too bad there's nothing to look at on the north side of the street. looking forward to this one.

FoxyWoman- please do tell then- I cant grasp the comparison between a hawaiian fusion chain restaurant that caters to the 'burb crowd and a casual, neighborhood burger spot.
