Buca di Beppo shutdowns

Arrivederci.

Sign of the economy, or a sign of hope?

Buca di Beppo -- the garishly decorated, Planet Hollywood-owned chain by way of that red-gravy hotbed of Minneapolis, Minnesota -- has lost two local outlets of late.

The location on Route 38 in Cherry Hill (across from the Olive Garden) is buttoned up, following the recent closure of the one on Germantown Pike in East Norriton. The Jenkintown location said arrivederci in November 2004 and is still dark.

Exton and Center City remain.
