Broad Street Diner back on the market

It's listed for $1.85 million after Stephen Starr apparently walked away from the deal.

The Broad Street Diner at Broad and Ellsworth Streets is back on the market, at a listed price of $1.85 million:

Just 1 minute from center city of Philadelphia, once well-known facility is on 14,171 sqfts lot right on Broad street with parking in front and in the rear. Super location with walking distance to Kimmel center, Theaters, Avenue of the Arts, High rise condos, Shopping, schools…public transportation is right at the front. Dining area has capacity for 144 people. Banquet area for 140 has been rented for parties, special events… for weekend. Large 3 offices and 2 full baths can be used for office or 3 bedrooms apartment. Golden opportunities for Developer, Investor, or Family run business. The building and the zoning C2 lot face to west direction on Broad Street and face North direction on Ellsworth. need prequalified or proof of fund to show.

Stephen Starr signed an agreement of sale last summer (it had been offered at the time for $1.9 million), but balked supposedly over what I heard were environmental issues.

Thanks to my colleague Sam Wood for the heads-up.
