Bonaduce and Canseco fight to a majority draw

WYSP morning man Danny Bonaduce and former baseball star Jose Canseco went three rounds  in a Saturday night celeb match at the Ice Works Skating Complex in Aston, Delaware County, and it ended in ... a majority draw.

Two judges scored one round for each and one round a draw. One judge gave Canseco two rounds, Bonaduce one.

Bonaduce, outweighed by 80 pounds and outsized by 10 inches, took some big shots to the head but peppered Canseco with some impressive body shots and a couple of over-the-top rights. They hugged after the fight.

Bonaduce was 12-0 with 10 knockouts before this bout. In his last celeb match, Canseco was knocked out in the first round by NBC10 sports director Vai Sikahema.

    Canseco won the fight, although it wasn't much of a fight. Danny never got near him!There was a better fight in the hockey game next door. What were all the cops there for after the fight? There must have been 12 cop cars there afterwards.

    He needs to come to grips with his age and the fact that his popularity is not where it was. His radio show is weak but screams "I wanna be young...I'm hip...." He should tray a different approach and make it more natural instead of the tough guy persona etc.
