'Best brunches'

OpenTable is out with its winners.

'Best brunches'

OpenTable has announced its Top 100 Restaurants for Brunch in the United States, based on  opinions of nearly 5 million reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Philly-area winners:

FARMiCiA – Philadelphia, Pa.

Generations Restaurant – Media, Pa.

Styer’s Garden Café – Glen Mills, Pa.

Tap Room-Hotel Bethlehem – Bethlehem, Pa.

Valley Green Inn – Philadelphia, Pa.

Before you squawk that such downtown favorites as Honey's Sit N Eat, Sabrina's Cafe, and Cafe Estelle were not cited, keep in mind that the nominees were drawn exclusively from OpenTable establishments. The aforementioned don't take reservations, as anyone who's waited outside for an hour in all kinds of weather can attest.
