What were the chances of today's on-the-street meetup of Reid Rosenthal, the Rittenhouse Realtor who was booted off The Bachelorette a year ago, and Ashley Hebert, the Penn Dental student who was shown the door Monday night on The Bachelor?
No sparks flew in what Rosenthal described on Twitter as a random meeting outside of the 10 Rittenhouse high-rise, where he was doing a showing. He is dating Kristen Dalton, a former Miss USA.
Rosenthal just entered Pop Chips' social-media contest designed to appoint a "vice president" to work with the snack food company's "president of pop culture," Ashton Kutcher.
Other contestants had a head start, as Rosenthal put off his entry until the other day. (Cute video was shot on Rittenhouse Square, in Reading Terminal Market, and outside of the Comcast Center.)
He's passed 1,500 votes, though he's far behind the pack. He's looking at the contest, with its $50,000 prize, as fun, and he promises to donate $3,000 to a yet-to-be-named charity.
