Atlantic City radio going Wild with dance music

The modern rock outlet at 102.7 is going hit radio, as FMQB reports.

FMQB, the radio trade publication, is reporting that Atlantic City modern-rock station WJSE (102.7) will become WWAC (WILD 102.7) , which will have a contemporary-hit/dance format.

The format will debut at 9:55 p.m. Friday, after a simulcast of the Grucci fireworks show from the boardwalk, FMQB says.

It's been speculated that the station will simulcast the signal of WPTY on Long Island.
