Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival up for the weekend

This weekend's best bet at the Jersey Shore is the Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival, an assemblage of celeb chefs doing tastings, demos, and the like at assorted casino properties.

The weekend is a sort of coming-out party for the Food Network's offshoot Cooking Channel, and Roger Mooking, host of Everyday Exotic, Darryl Robinson, aka Dr. Mixologist who mixes it up on Drink Up, and Ching He-Huang who shows how to make Chinese food at home on her show Chinese Food Made Easy, will be there.

In addition to attending the festival, they will appear at the Cooking Channel ice cream truck, which will be giving out scoops of Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream on the Boardwalk between Caesars and Bally’s (11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday). Ching He-Huang will appear from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Darryl Robinson will be there from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, and Roger Mooking will be there from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

    Figures, that is why Guy is filming Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives at Good Dog this week.
