Another tale from Wash West

The Washington Square West Civic Association is stellar among community groups for its frank reporting of crime:

(REPORT) On Saturday, 05/02/09, 2:40 AM, complainant was in the 200 block S. Sartain St. when approached by a male he thought to be armed with a handgun. The male pushed the complainant down and took a cell phone and fled on foot, east on Locust St. The offender was described as an Hispanic male, 25 years old, 5'10", 200 lbs, wearing a grey hoody, light jeans. (The complainant was too intoxicated to be interviewed by Detectives at the time.)
