The CBS3 alumna, left the afternoon job last month, will be a lead anchor at the CBS affiliate in Seattle.

KIRO announced last week that Russell would take the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. on its "Eyewitness News" -- wow, how much easier could they make it? -- in March. The current occupant of the lead-female chair is being moved to the noon news.

Russell's husband, who was in med school in D.C. while she was in Philly, will do rounds at the University of Washington.
