WMMR's Marisa Magnatta (right, wearing the bracelet) with Kathy Romano. The photo was taken earlier in the evening.

Marisa Magnatta does not hate Steven Singer, to play off the jeweler's tagline. Singer, though, is not too happy with the WMMR Preston & Steve show producer.

She lost the diamond tennis bracelet that Singer staff had lent her to wear to Friday's launch party for the Preston & Steve 2009 calendar at the new Mad River in Manayunk.

After the party, Magnatta says she and the show's Kathy Romano cabbed it to another nightspot, Cactus. "While standing at the bar, I looked down and it was gone," says a mortified Magnatta, who still had the matching loaner earrings, necklace and ring.

The bracelet's retail value: $2,500.

"This has never happened in 33 years," says Singer, who regularly lends baubles and whose insurance carries a $10,000 deductible. "If it were Preston [Elliot], I'd make him pay. But a producer's salary? That'll be her Christmas present for the next 10 years, or I'll make her my indentured servant."
