A second Elton John/Billy Joel show is added
The July 30 show sold out in 20 minutes, so the two will add a second show, Aug. 1.
They're calling it a "double play" for Elton John and Billy Joel at Citizens Bank Park, as a second show has been added.
Date is 7 p.m. Aug. 1, and tix go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday through ComcastTIX at 1-800-298-4200, on line at ComcastTIX.com, in person at the Wachovia Center box office or at select Acme Markets. Ticket prices are $49.50, $95 and $175.
July 30's show sold out in less than 20 minutes.
Philly hosted the piano men's first-ever match-up, in 1994 at the late Veterans Stadium.
