A Full Plate will uproot to Fishtown

New restaurant will include a bar.

They've obtained a spot - the five points crossroads of Norris and Cedar Streets and Susquehanna Avenue (aka 2370 E. Norris St.) - across from Loco Pez.

Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen - as they're calling it - will be twice the size: about 50 seats.

They're also getting a liquor license, and their buddy Anthony Scavuzzo, an amateur brewer and beer enthusiast, will head the bar, which will have 16 taps.

Dougherty explains that Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen will be "a little bit like what we've started here, but we're expanding on it. I'm tapping into my inner soul of a Southern woman who is not the white Irish girl that I am."

American cuisine will include what Dougherty calls "'70s housewife kind of foods." She promises three kinds of fried chicken, including traditional, Korean and an herb-crusted variety similar to Shake N Bake.

Interior will be made of reclaimed materials (e.g. tables are doors). Light fixtures will be made out of cooking utensils.

It will serve lunch and dinner daily, plus brunch on weekends.

They hope for a soft opening in February.

Right now, of course, it's business as usual on Liberties Walk.
