You've heard of suburbanites moving back to the city?

Asian cuisine doyenne Susanna Foo - working out of Radnor since 2009, when she sold her flagship restaurant on Walnut Street - is prepping to return to Center City.

Foo is lining up a Rittenhouse-area location - which she would not disclose today - but more immediately has reclaimed the culinary services of chef Anne Coll, who was Foo's executive chef for six years. Coll recently left Meritage after five years.

Foo has tapped Coll as executive chef at Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen in the Radnor Financial Center, which opened in late 2006.

Coll and Foo's son Gabe will run the new restaurant, which will specialize in small plates, Susanna Foo said. "I'll just be a consultant," she said.

In her 25 years at 1512 Walnut St. - now a Chipotle - Foo racked up every award you could imagine for her meld of French and Chinese cuisine.

Stay tuned.
