Rob Guarino: 10 to 20 inches of snow

The weatherman is so impressed with an impending snowstorm, he's written a song about it.

Fox29 alumnus Rob Guarino, who's been out of weather work since November after leaving his job in Albuquerque, has been spending time calling highs and lows on his weather blog.

For several days, he's been telling the world about a monstrous snowstorm coming late Wednesday, hitting from Baltimore to Boston.

In a phone chat this morning, Guarino says Philly will get 10 to 20 inches, with the potential for 40 inches in some interior areas in the New York area.

Other meteorologists may name storms, but Guarino simply writes songs about them.

He's calling this one "Super Freak" (with apologies to Rick James):

She's a very kinky storm
The kind you don't take home to mother
She will never let your spirits down
Once you get her off the ocean, ow girl
She likes the cities on 95
She says the models are her I'm her all-time favorite
When I make my move to the Mid Atlantic it's the right time
She's never hard to please

{Refrain}
That storm is pretty wild now
The storm's a super freak
The kind of storm you read about
In new-wave blogs with peeps
That storm is pretty kinky
The storm's a super freak
I really love to see it
Every winter we meet!
