Don't say "break a leg" to Joyce DiDonato if you happen to run into her. It became literally true for DiDonato, the mezzo reports on her blog, during a Saturday London performance of The Barber of Seville. She slipped on stage in the first act, but kept going, thinking it was something less than a break. Now, with a cast in place, she has continued with the production.
