For a while now, I've been hearing ads on WIP proudly proclaiming the fact they're only one of two radio stations in the country broadcasting radio games in surround-sound high definition.

That may have been a toutable perk back in 2008, but these are the soul-crushing, impossibly boring 2014 Phillies we're talking about. Ham radio would be too good for this squad of underachieving duds currently occupying the cellar of a division that include the lowly Mets and Marlins.

But fear not - two of the Phillies young prospects, J.P. Crawford and Maikel Franco, are among the top 50 prospects in all of baseball, according to Baseball Prospectus and Baseball America, respectfully. Althought according to one list, the Phillies have no prospect ranked higher than 36th, and Franco barely squaked by on one list at the 50th spot (he didn't make the cut on the other).

Wait, wasn't Dom Brown once a top prospect, too?
