Goodman decommits from Villanova

POSTED: Saturday, August 27, 2011, 3:53 PM
Filed Under: Men's Basketball

Former Academy of the New Church standout Savon Goodman backed out of his commitment to play basketball at Villanova, according to multiple sources close to the situation.

The 6-foot-6 forward, who transferred from ANC to Constitution High on Wednesday, is in Venice Beach (Calif.) competing in the Elite 24 all-American game and couldn’t be reached for comment. However, a source confirmed that Goodman actually decommited earlier this week.

Hooprecruiter: He's transferring from Academy New Church, which is a non-PIAA school, to a PIAA school. The same rules don't apply in this scenario.
