Wyndmoor teen Julia Fleming walks couture catwalks

After a dreamy time walking the New York Fashion Week runways in September, Wyndmoor teen Julia Fleming is now heating up the couture catwalks in Paris.

Designers' couture collections showcase their most beloved, one-of-a-kind pieces. These are the stunning - and sometimes downright strange - frocks that A-list celebrities wear on the red carpet.

But these pieces rarely see the light of day on even the most upscale retail racks. Designers fund them with their affordable-to-the-masses collaborations with say, Target.

So the fact that Fleming, 19, walked six - yes, six - couture shows for such high-profile designers as Valentino and Zuhair Murad is a huge deal. Wednesday she closed the always controversial couture show by designer John Galliano for Maison Margiela.

I can't wait to see which runways Fleming walks during next month's fall 2016 collections in New York.
