PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has released a new campaign video called “Runway Reversal" - just in time for New York Fashion Week.

The organization, which already lacks a friendly reputation with the fashion industry, has a history of lashing out against designers and editors who feature animal fur as part of their collections and spreads. Once, PETA orchestrated planting a dead raccoon a la carte in Anna Wintour's lunch at a swanky, high profile restaurant. The Vogue editor was not pleased.

In the rather grotesque, animated short, makeshift animals strut down imaginary catwalks in human skin and hair to the tune of "How You Like Me Now" by The Heavy. Backstage, meanwhile, looks something like a scene right out of “Dexter”: Humans are confined within tiny cages, bloodied body parts hang from ceilings, and a dirty, naked girl quivers with fear behind bars.

The video ends with a few lines of impact including this message: “Every year, people kill millions of animals for fashion.” Watch below.
