The 5 best red carpet beauty looks from the Oscars

Our leading ladies dominated the red carpet Sunday night and managed to tackle some of the top beauty trends for fall to boot. Not just for the runway, these five looks are easy enough to try for a cute date or a girls' night out on the town.

1. Reese Witherspoon / Jessica Chastain: 1940s Waves

Reese's and Jessica's polished Veronica Lake-esque waves are on the top of our beauty wishlist this season. Paired with elegant dresses, their manes and megawatt smiles were a knockout.

2. Queen Latifah: Pink

Pink is another top trend for fall and the Queen aces this look with a swipe of gloss in the vibrant color. Start with a tinted pink balm to try this trend in a tone that works for your skin color.

3. Jenna Dewan-Tatum: Bold Brows

Bold brows are having a huge moment right now, thanks to model Cara Delevingne. Jenna's look draws all the attention in to her eyes with a smoky shadow and manicured brows.

4. Sandra Bullock: Sleek Straight Hair

Sleek, straight hair is making a big comeback and looked great on Sandra paired with a sparkling hair clip to complement her gown.

5. Adele: Matte Lipstick

The singer's matte lips don't detract from her embellished gown (or amazing voice) and nail the head on this big trend from NYFW. From the runway to the red carpet, Adele conquers this look.
