Taylor Swift-brand clothing launching in August

Chinese retail website JD.com announced that it’ll be selling Taylor Swift’s clothing line “exclusively for JD.com customers,” which means, unfortunately, no access for Swift’s U.S. fans quite yet.

It was only a matter of time before Reading-area pop star Taylor Swift took her status as a dainty, retro style icon into the fashion world. Chinese retail website JD.com announced that it'll be selling Swift's line "exclusively for JD.com customers," which means, unfortunately, no access for Swift's U.S. fans quite yet.

The fashion line will include dresses, sweatshirts, and other tops and will launch in August. Swift is expected to invade the country in November, visiting Shanghai for her "1989" world tour. JD.com is available only in China, and the site announced Monday it plans to debut U.S. Mall, a sales platform that offers American products like Converse and Nautica Kids to Chinese buyers.

Swift has been on tour since May 5, 2015, kicking the tour off in Japan before making a stop in Philadelphia on July 12 and July 13. She'll be in Shanghai from Nov. 10 to Nov. 12, and the tour concludes Dec. 12, 2015.
