Sneak peeks reveal Alexander Wang for H&M outfits

Vogue UK and Vogue Netherlands have revealed complete Alexander Wang x H&M ensemble sneak peeks.

Vogue UK and Vogue Netherlands have revealed complete Alexander Wang x H&M ensemble sneak peeks.

Wang and the Swedish retailer dropped sporadic clues about the upcoming designer collaboration including a Wang embossed yoga mat and boxing gloves key chain. On Sunday, CFDA Fashion Icon Award recipient Rihanna was seen in a sporty long-sleeve crop top and matching leggings from the Alexander Wang for H&M collection and the web went wild with speculation.

The next day, H&M allowed Vogue Netherlands to squash the suspicion in the magazine's October preview, proving that contrary to prior belief, Wang's entire collection will not be solely dedicated to sportswear.

Titled "Run The World," the spread shows an Alexander Wang for H&M collection that does include some sportswear — mesh basketball shorts, a black sports bra, and a Wang embossed crewneck sweatshirt — but the American designer gave us something for the girly-girls, too. A white, cutout-top dress and a boxy, mesh-paneled little black dress are just two of the more feminine pieces.

A Vogue UK spread shared by Racked includes some pricing for H&M's designer collection. A pair of Alexander Wang for H&M leather pants clocks in at roughly $290, while a sporty mesh-paneled T-shirt will cost you about $129.

At the beginning of September, GQ UK debuted a peek at the Alexander Wang for H&M men's collection that, like the womenswear snapshot, is all black, white and gray.

Glimpses into the highly anticipated collection may ease speculation, and now we know the designer collection won't come cheap.
