Model Chrissy Teigan 'too fat' for Forever 21

John Legend's outspoken, supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen told DuJour magazine she was once fired from a modeling gig for being "too fat."

In accordance with her quirky, 'I don't care what you think' persona, Teigen called out popular retailer Forever 21 for kicking her out of a gig after they were unhappy with her appearance.

"I showed up on set and they asked me if I could take a photo," Teigen recalled in a video interview with DuJour. "And they shoot that photo off to my agency, who then calls me as I'm sitting in the make-up chair, and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to get your measurements taken.'" The Sports Illustrated cover model can now joke about the experience, which happened when she was younger. She added, "I hate you, Forever 21. I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."

The 28-year-old bombshell is no stranger to hilariously blunt statements, as well as the backlash they can cause. To her praise, she was named one of the 25 funniest female celebrities on Twitter by Complex magazine. However, Teigen received criticism for her tweets about Quevenzhané Wallis in 2013 when she called the child actress "cocky" and a "brat."

Teigen married R&B crooner Legend, 35, in September 2013 after dating for seven years.
