Michael Kors, possibly J.Crew Men’s store, hitting Philly’s Walnut Street

It looks like 2014 is a big year for Rittenhouse retail.

It looks like 2014 is a big year for Rittenhouse retail.

Racked Philly reports that a Michael Kors store is taking the place of the soon-to-be-empty Burberry shop at 1705 Walnut Street.

Larry Steinberg, president of Rittenhouse Row Merchant's Association, told the site that the Kors store will inhabit both floors of the building and is slated to open this spring.

Although not confirmed, it looks like the bright pink Juicy Couture store, at the corner on 1701 Walnut Street, may transform into a J.Crew Men's, according to Racked. But it's just a rumor for now!

This news comes shortly after the recently announced Philadelphia-area UNIQLO locations that are looking to open in 2014.
