It's a beautiful combination: Compassion and fashion.

For Halle Berry and Michael Kors, the duo wants to use both assets to fight global hunger.

On Monday, the Academy Award-winning actress and CFDA Award-winning designer announced the Watch Hunger Stop campaign. The charitable effort will raise money to battle hunger in hard-hit spots like Syria and Africa through sales of Michael Kors' Runway watch - a $295 wristwatch that will donate 100 meals to the U.N. World Food Programme for each one sold.

"Over the years, I've had the great fortune of traveling the world and experiencing new cultures and people," Kors told Vogue UK in January, when his partnership with the UNWFP was first announced. "And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that millions of people all over the world are struggling to feed themselves, and their families, every day. I want to lend my voice and my efforts to this international cause."
