Local warehouse selling items from closed down NYC Opera house

Mid-Century Furniture Warehouse in Kensington has acquired quite the collection of odds and ends from the recently shut down NYC Opera.

Mid-Century Furniture Warehouse in Kensington has acquired quite the collection of odds and ends from the recently shut down NYC Opera. This weekend they will be hosting a tag sale in their back warehouse along 2nd Street.

They have a wide variety of items taken from productions like The Barber of Seville, La Boheme, Carmen, Don Giovanni, Hansel and Gretel, Madame Butterfly, Le Nozze di Figaro (Marriage of Figaro), La Rondine, Tosca, La Traviata and many more.

They will have over 100 wigs of all types, hats, fabrics, vintage luggage, glassware and other housewares, stage furniture, jewelry, backdrops, stage props, steamers, sewing supplies and much more.

Mid-Century, located at 1701 N. 2nd Street (2nd & Cecil B. Moore), will have these very cool items available for purchase on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 from 11 AM – 5 PM.
