J.Crew is branching out- not only within Center City, but the surrounding vicinity, too.

The preppy, trendy retailer's lower-priced "outlet" brand, J.Crew Factory, will open a 6,100 square foot store in the Plaza Shops at Plymouth Meeting Mall this fall, PREIT announced Monday.

There are currently 114 factory stores across the country, with a spot at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets in Limerick, Pa. being the closest in distance to Center City. The Plymouth Meeting store will carry womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, shoes, accessories, and outerwear.

No opening date has been set, yet.
