Fast fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz announced Monday a new store opening at The Shops at 69th Street in Upper Darby as part of its Pennsylvania expansion plan.

The store will offer collections for women and men, in addition to lingerie and accessories. The location will also carry childrenswear, and H&M+, the retailer's plus-size line.

In 2012, the Swedish retailer opened 40 new locations across the United States. H&M announced last Thursday its plans for an aggressive expansion of 40 new stores expected to open in key market locations across the country in 2013. Currently, there are two H&M stores in Center City - one on Walnut Street, the second on Chestnut - and additional locations at major shopping malls including King of Prussia and Willow Grove.

The H&M in Upper Darby will open this fall.
