From office to cocktails: Be holiday party ready in 15 minutes with 5 products

The office closes at 3:30 p.m. for the company’s holiday cocktail party starting at 4:00 p.m. When you factor in the restaurant is 15 minutes away, that doesn’t leave much time to change your look from corporate casual to holiday glam.

The office closes at 3:30 p.m. for the company's holiday cocktail party starting at 4:00 p.m.  When you factor in the restaurant is 15 minutes away, that doesn't leave much time to change your look from corporate casual to holiday glam.

Quickly update your look with your makeup in 15 minutes using these five makeup products:

Day: My day-to-day eye makeup is soft and natural. One of my favorite eye shadow palettes is Bobbi Brown's Rich Chocolate Eye Palette (Limited Edition- currently not available).

Night: I use the lighter browns for day, but to add a little more drama for evening; I use the darkest brown in the crease.

Total time: 2 min.

Eyeliner

Day: During the day I line just the top lash with black liner.

Night: To add definition, I add black liner along the bottom lash waterline and smudge it out to soften the look. Try Laura Mercier's Kohl Eyeliner in Jet Black and smudge with Q-Tip or smudge brush.

Total time: 5 min.

Eyelashes

Day: Curl lashes. Add mascara.

Night: Falsies. It's a lot easier to apply a strip of lashes then you think. The trick is to let the glue dry for about 30 seconds after applying it on the lash. Apply with tweezers and you're done. Instant glam. Try Ardell Lash's in 110 Demi Black for a natural-but-better look.

Total time: 5 minutes

Cheeks

Day: A little bronzer and a touch of blush on the apples of the cheeks.

Night: Add a shimmering (not glittery) highlighter along the top of your cheekbones and under brow bone for a beautiful glow.  Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal is a universally flattering shade.

Total time: 1.5 minutes

Lips:

Day: Nude gloss or lip balm

Night: Go bold! Add a pop of color on the lips in a deep wine or bright red color. My favorite bold lip color right now is Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Napa Vineyard.

Total time: 1.5 minutes
