Fashion's favorite feline is releasing her own makeup collection
Karl Lagerfeld is here to remind you that Taylor Swift’s famed kitty isn’t the only celebrity cat in the game. His Siamese cat Choupette Lagerfeld is working on her first makeup collection with Shu Uemura, an international cosmetics brand from Japan.
Industry elites are taking a notice to our penchant for pampered pets. Karl Lagerfeld is here to remind you that Taylor Swift's famed kitty isn't the only celebrity cat in the game. His Siamese cat Choupette Lagerfeld is working on her first makeup collection with Shu Uemura, an international cosmetics brand.
The cat cosmetic line, Shupette, will be released in the fall and could feature furry false eyelashes, Women's Wear Daily reports.
Choupette may very well be the most fabulous feline in fashion. A tech-savvy, social media sensation, @ChoupettesDiary has over 38,000 Twitter followers. Her Twitter intro reads, "I'm a famous beauty who refuses to eat on the floor and my maids pamper my every need. I am Choupette Lagerfeld and I am a spoiled pussy." She recently tweeted:
About his furry friend, renowned fashion designer Lagerfeld said, "I thought she was too cute. She is like a kept woman. She has a strong personality. She has lunch and dinner with me on the table, with her own food. She even knows how to use an iPad."
As if all of this isn't enough, Choupette also has a biography coming out in the fall entitled "Choupette: The Private Life of a High-Flying Fashion Cat."
