Capitol Couture: 'Hunger Games' fashion line to be sold on Net-A-Porter

Halloween just got a little more expensive for Hunger Games fans.

Halloween just got a little more expensive for Hunger Games fans.

Net-A-Porter, the online arbiter of beautiful pieces and products straight from designers' runways, announced Wednesday that it is launching an exclusive line by the film's costume designer Trish Summerville. The 16-piece luxury collection will be called Capitol Couture by Trish Summerville and sold exclusively on Net-a-Porter.com. It will include jewelry, leather pieces and RTW items.

The luxury retailer's fashion director, Holli Rogers, shared in a release:

"Fashion plays an important role in The Hunger Games series and is especially prevalent in Catching Fire, and fans of the franchise will see the film reference in the collection. This is also brilliant fashion in its own right, and we're delighted to provide our customers with the chance to purchase limited-edition pieces designed by one of the most original costume designers in the industry today."

Summerville, who launched a "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" line with H&M in 2011 shared, "I am extremely proud of the designs that we created for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and there's no partner more appropriate for 'Capitol Couture' than the world's most cutting-edge luxury retailer."

No word yet on the collection's exact release date or the price range (seeing that it is Net-a-Porter, we are expecting high-quality clothing offered at equally high prices).

The company says the line will launch in time for Catching Fire's release on Nov. 22. The second installment of the Hunger Games series will once again star Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
