Iconic Americana apparel brand Calvin Klein is reaching into the past to resurface some of their most well known items in a nine-piece capsule collection with online retailer

The collection, called ‘The Re-Issue Project,’ is a response to the current fashion climate said collection designer Kevin Carrigan, Calvin Klein Jeans global creative director.

“This Calvin Klein Jeans capsule is all about a nostalgia for the Nineties and that whole look feeling very right again,” he said. “It now feels like the perfect time to reissue the brand’s iconic hits to a new generation.”

Trademark pieces like high-waist jeans and denim jackets received a modern twist for the retro collection. In addition to the sartorial sentimentality ‘The Re-Issue Project’ will no doubt incur, 16-year-old Lottie Moss, baby sister of Kate Moss, is the face of the collection. The elder Moss was propelled into superstardom after starring in a Calvin Klein ad campaign in the early 90s.

About time! Especially as the summer heats up, it’s nearly impossible to avoid seeing women and girls in ‘90s-inspired high-waist shorts, color block crop tops and sassy, oversized, menswear-inspired looks. Not to mention the slow but steady comeback of overalls like the pair Lottie wears with a laid-back Calvin Klein sports bra for the new collection.

Awakening your inner TLC Crazy, Sexy, Cool will cost you between $105 and $415. ‘The Re-Issue Project’ will be available on on Wednesday July 16.
