Brad Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles launches fashion design competition

Design for Brad Smith.
Design for Brad Smith.

Brad Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles might be listed on the depth chart as a wide receiver, but the all-purpose back has some hidden talents besides the ability to throw.

He has an eye for fashion, and is offering one aspiring designer the chance to create his Fashion Week look in his "Design for Brad Smith" competition.  No materials are needed; the winning designer doesn’t even need to create the physical garments.

Contestants can simply submit a hand-drawn or digitally-generated sketch of their ideal Red Carpet look. The winner will be compensated with a Grand Prize package valued at $20,000 that includes a trip to Fashion Week in New York City where he or she will spend the day with Smith, who will wear their design at a red carpet event.
The lucky designer will also have the opportunity to rub elbow pads with the industry’s elite.

If you think you have what it takes to be Smith’s personal designer, enter here. Don’t forget to read the official rules, and when you watch Smith play against the Saints tonight, keep an eye out for his measurements.
