Dirty brushes can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
Dirty brushes can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.
SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED:
Olive oil, baby shampoo, a plate and a clean towel.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Rinse brush head in lukewarm water. Avoid the area where the handle meets the brush, as this can loosen the glue over time.
2. Squeeze some shampoo and a dab of olive oil onto a plate. Dab your brush in the oil to help loosen residue, then dip brush in a generous amount of shampoo.
3. Swirl the brush tip in your palm, wetting it as necessary to form suds, until brush is clean.
4. Wash the shampoo and oil off with lukewarm water, as above. Lay flat to dry.
