On day one of New York Fashion Week, Max and Lubov Azria presented Fall collections with a Turkish twist.

Fur vests, blood-red leather tops, forest green skirts, layered dresses, and sweaters paired with beanies diverged from the line's usual offerings of structured pieces and banded skirts.

"It sounds a little crazy, but it's also a little bit hippie. It's different than what we've been doing," Max Azria told AP backstage at Lincoln Center.
