Amour Vert brings sustainable style to Bloomingdales

Bloomingdales is bringing a sustainable brand to their stores. The upscale department store is teaming up with Amour Vert, a green clothing line out of San Francisco.

To launch this partnership, Bloomingdales at Willow Grove Park Mall is hosting a preview event for Amour Vert's Spring/Summer 2014 collection on Saturday, June 7 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. A photo booth will be present at the launch party as part of Amour Vert's T(r)EE program. As a part of this program, shoppers will have the chance to have a tree planted in their honor for every photo taken at the booth.

Amour Vert has a "zero-waste design philosophy" and uses organic cotton, silk and recycled polyester, among other green materials, to create their clothing.
