Leading the Hawks in scoring and rebounding on the week, van Grinsven posted back-to-back double-doubles for SJU. Against La Salle last Wednesday, van Grinsven finished with a team-best 16 points and 15 rebounds to go with three assists. She followed that with a 26-point, 13 rebound game against Fordham on Sunday. Additionally, she surpassed the 1,000 point mark for her career against the Rams.

van Grinsven shares the Big 5 weekly honor with Penn’s Alyssa Baron and the A-10 honor with Marah Strickland of Fordham.

The Hawks return to action this Wednesday when they host Massachusetts at 7 p.m.
