BRONX, N.Y. - Senior Morgan Duffy scored a goal and classmate Lauren Jancuska made a game-high seven saves as the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team earned a 1-1 double overtime draw at Fordham on Sunday afternoon.

The Hawks (4-5-3, 0-1-1 A-10) struck first on Duffy's second goal of the season. Off a failed clear by Fordham, Duffy gathered the ball from 30 yards out and drilled a shot that skipped just over the goal line inside the left post to give SJU a 1-0 lead at 42:51.

The Rams (3-6-3, 1-1-1 A-10) would tally the equalizer in the 53rd minute on a header by Nicole Bates.

The game would remain tied through regulation and the first overtime. In the second frame, the Hawks would have three shots in close, but Fordham blocked each attempt, while at the other end, Jancuska made a key save as time was expiring to preserve the draw.

For the game, Fordham outshot the Hawks 19-17, with the Rams finishing with a 12-11 edge in corners.

Saint Joseph's returns to action next Sunday at George Washington at 1 p.m.
