Saint Joseph's Golfers In 12th Place at Hartford Hawk Invitational

SOUTH KENT, Conn. - The Saint Joseph's golf team is in 12th place after Monday's opening two rounds of the Hartford Hawk Invitational. As a team, the Hawks shot 309-311/620, while Tyler Kingsley is tied for 31st to lead all individual SJU golfers.


Playing at Bull's Bridge Golf Club (par 72/6,992 yards), Kingsley fired a score of 73-79/152 for a tie for 31st place. Connor Garrity is tied for 43rd at 80-75/155, while T.J. Summers is a shot behind at 80-76/156 (tied for 49th).T.J. McNulty fired a two-round score of 76-81/157 (tied for 55th), while Tim Godshalk rounded out the five-man squad at 81-81/162 (tied for 78th).


Rutgers holds the team lead by at 584 over host Hartford. Hartford's Evan Russell holds the individual lead at 137.


Final round of action begins Tuesday at 8 a.m.
