NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the first time in Saint Joseph’s women’s tennis history, two Hawks have been named to Atlantic 10 All-Conference Teams. Senior Casey Robinson (Radnor, Pa./Harriton) was selected to the A-10 All-Conference First Team for the second straight year, while sophomore Aurora Davis (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) earned A-10 All-Conference Second Team honors, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

The only player in Saint Joseph's women's tennis history to garner multiple Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors, Robinson finished her career as arguably the best player to ever don the Crimson and Gray. An All-Conference First Team selection as a junior and senior, and Second Team honoree as a sophomore, Robinson posted a 66-21 singles record over her four seasons, setting the Hawks' all-time records for singles wins (66) and wins at No. 1 singles (52). This year, she posted arguably the best season in program history going 25-4 overall in singles matches and 20-3 at the top singles flight. A member of the SJU Athletic Director's Honor Roll, Robinson topped her previous record for wins, 23, set last season as a junior.

Playing primarily at the second singles flight, Davis posted a career year in 2012-13. After going 14-13 overall as a rookie, Davis flourished this past season, going 25-6 in singles matches to tie Robinson’s record for most wins in a season and setting a new record for wins at No. 2 singles with 18. Teaming with Robinson to go 10-3 at the top doubles flight, Davis will enter next season tied with Jhennifer Kedzierksi ’10 for the all-time lead in wins at No. 2 singles (23) and fifth overall in all-time singles wins.

The Hawks capped a memorable season in 2012-13 under head coach Ian Crookenden, going 13-11 overall and posting the most wins in a single season in team history. Additionally, this year marked the first time Saint Joseph’s has had multiple players earn A-10 All-Conference honors.
