SJU Golfers Place Ninth At Joe Agee Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Saint Joseph's golf team posted its best round of the tournament on Tuesday, shooting 305 to finish in ninth place at the Joe Agee Invitational. Playing at the Williamsburg Club (Par 71, 6,837 yards), the Hawks finished with a three-round score of 308-306-305/919, while freshman T.J. McNulty paced the squad with a score of 75-74-74/223.

Playing at the Williamsburg Club (Par 71, 6,837 yards), the Hawks finished with a three-round score of 308-306-305/919, while freshman T.J. McNulty paced the squad with a score of 75-74-74/223.

McNulty posted his best finish to date, tying for 15th, while freshman freshman T.J. Summers tied for 25th at 77-75-75/227. Sophomore Connor Garrity carded a three-round score of 76-77-80/233 to tie for 38th, while junior Tyler Kingsley fired an 80-80-76/236 to tie for 43rd. Sophomore Tim Godshalk rounded out the five-man squad in 50th place with a score of 81-80-81/242.

High Point won the team title over Radford by a stroke, 816 to 862, while the Panthers' Chase Wilson claimed medalist honors with a three-round score of 206.

The Hawks return to action this Sunday and Monday, September 30 and October 1, at the Cobra-PUMA Invitational in Fort Myers, Florida.
