Temple Men's Soccer Blanked by Drexel, 2-0

In its first Philadelphia Soccer Six bout of the season, the Temple Owls were held scoreless by the winless Drexel Dragons at Vidas Field Wednesday evening, losing by a count of 2-0.

The Owls kept pace with the Dragons for the remainder of the half, matching Drexel with five shots in the half.

Seconds later, the Dragons put the Owls out of reach and were on their way to their first victory of the season when Rich Robinson's header from five yards out found the back of the net.

With the loss, the Owls (3-5-0) are now on a three-game losing streak as they now look to Saturday's match with the Howard Bison in the nation's capital. Game time has been rescheduled from 7:30 p.m. to a 3:00 p.m. kickoff.
